Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce has sparked backlash after confronting Richard Tice on air.
Question Time presenter Fiona Bruce has come under fire as viewers accused her of being “biased” against Reform’s Richard Tice during the latest episode of the BBC panel show. As Tice went head-to-head with Labour’s James Murray, Bruce was heard interrupting him on multiple occasions, sparking backlash from viewers. One said: “Question Time needs to be axed. Plants in the audience, definite bias, panel members shouting over each other. It was priceless though when Fiona Bruce called out some of the panel for interrupting. Don’t even get me started on the over aggressive Union Rep.”
Another added: “Fiona Bruce really can’t stand Richard Tice…it’s bloody hilarious,” as a third agreed: “Fiona Bruce no longer even tries to hide her anti-Reform bias.” A fourth asked: “Was Fiona Bruce interrupting? That will be a yes on both counts.” However, another viewrer backed the presenter for calling out the Reform chairman, saying: “Fiona Bruce shows that Richard Tice doesn’t really know what he’s doing beyond slogans.”

One viewer said: “Anyone would think Reform didn’t win by a landslide last week. Such a anti-reform audience, Fiona being harsh on Tice while letting the blonde on the end shout over him no problem.”
During the episode, Fiona, 61, intervened as Tice and Murray got into a debate regarding the Winter Fuel Act.
She then curtly instructed Richard to wait for his turn while an audience member spoke up.
The viewer shared his thoughts on Brexit stating: “What we’ve seen with Brexit, under every single metric in our country is poorer, it’s a fact and everything we’re trying to do on the outside of that is just you know nibbling way of the edges when people say we have no money in our pockets Brexit, and what you stood for has caused that.”

Richard Tice was not impressed as Fiona told him off (Image: BBC)Richard tried to counter the statement with irritation, retorting: “Absolute nonsense, twaddle.”
Fiona, unamused, firmly reprimanded him, stating, “Hang on, Richard, you have to let people have their say. You’ve had a long speech already, we have to let other people speak.”
Tice appeared slightly embarrassed after Fiona’s scolding and settled down promptly. Jo Grady, Trade Union leader, struggled to hide her disdain for the MP as the audience member continued.
Question Time airs on Thursdays at 10.40pm on BBC1.
