Meghan Markle has revealed the intimate tradition she shares with her husband, Prince Harry, every night – and it involves a nightcap.
The 43-year-old shared her nightly routine in a new interview with People hot off the heels of the premiere of her new show on Netflix, With Love, Meghan.
The Duchess of Sussex explained that every evening, she and Prince Harry, 40, do something called ‘nightcap recaps,’ where they have a drink and talk about the day while they prepare lunchboxes for their children to take to school.
The pair have two children together – son Archie, five, and daughter Lilibet, three.
‘I think all parents in this phase with kids the same age know it’s rinse and repeat,’ Markle told the outlet of their nighttime ritual.
However, making lunch and having a beverage isn’t the only thing they do together.
Markle told People that when they’re done in the kitchen, they will sometimes watch some television.
‘We love Shrinking. We just finished Black Doves, and we’re excited for the new season of The White Lotus,’ she said, ahead of its release.

Netflix crew reveal how Meghan Markle treated them behind the scenes of her new show

‘It’s a real delight in being able to be a present parent. And it’s a luxury sometimes because we all have to work. We all have a lot of stuff to do,’ she said.
‘But when you can take a minute to just… finding the fun in those moments, makes for a really sweet start to the weekend,’ she added, before finishing off her colorful display with dollops of yogurt and flower sprinkles.
‘It doesn’t need to be big for a party, it’s how you incorporate these practices everyday,’ concluded the Duchess.
And, while Prince Harry let Markle shine on her own, he did make an appearance during the finale of the eight-episode series.
He has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, where the Duchess of Sussex organized a brunch ‘with her community.’
The Duke is among a flurry of guests, including his mother-in-law Doria Ragland, at a sunny outdoor party hosted by Markle.

‘Oh there he is,’ she gushed as her husband walked in, sporting a casual linen shirt and jeans for the outing.
The couple packed on the PDA as the Duchess huddled up to her husband, and said ‘good, right?’ while admiring the spread of champagne, Mimosas, quiche, bacon, pancakes and salad laid out.
‘Well done,’ he assured. ‘You did a great job. I love it.’
He can also be seen proudly looking on and raising a glass as the Duchess thanks those in attendance for ‘loving her so much and celebrating with her.’
‘This feels like a new chapter that I’m so excited that I get to share,’ she continued. ‘When I’ve been able to learn from all of you.
‘Thank you for the love and support. And here we go, it’s a business. All of that is that creativity that I’ve missed so much.’
‘To you!’ Harry can be heard toasting as Redbone’s Come And Get Your Love plays in the background.
