Pregnant Anne-Marie showed off her big baby bump after last week confirming she’s pregnant with her second child.The hitmaker, 33, is preparing to be a mum again with dad-to-be Slowthai, who she reportedly tied the knot with back in 2022. Sharing her wonderful news on social media days ago, the singer posted a video as she mimed along to her song Don’t Pani. Captioning the shock post, she simply wrote: “Surprise.”

She already looks quite a way down the line and giving fans a good look at her growing baby bump, she posted alongside a number of snaps. “Call me mummy and slap my bum,” Anne Marie’s fans were quick to respond. One said: “You look gorgeous” while another said: Beautiful mummy!”.

Her incredible announcement last week came months after Anne-Marie opened up on having the “hardest year”. In an Instagram post shared in December, the Friends songstress reflected on 2024 as she looked back on the turbulent past 12 months.

“2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives. God really tryina see how strong I am hahaha. I miss you all and I love you all more than you’ll ever know. I have SO MUCH for you in the new year that you’ll probably be sick of me (please don’t be) have the best break if you can and see you soon,” she wrote.

After going public with her romance with Slowthai in 2023, 2024 saw the pair embark on parenthood together – though it brought more challenging moments too. In December 2024, Slowthai was cleared of raping two fans. On December 16, he was cleared at Oxford Crown Court as jurors came back after more than ten hours of deliberation. His co-accused, Alex Blake-Walker, was also cleared of one count of sexual assault.

The jury returned their verdicts following a two-week trial during which it was alleged the two defendants assaulted two women in the early hours of September 8, 2021. Anne-Marie had stood by her partner’s side as he arrived at court in November and the pair put on a united front as they walked hand-in-hand.

After jurors cleared him of three counts of rape, the musician burst into tears in the dock. Judge Ian Pringle KC told the court that the case had “raised a lot of high feelings”. Relatives and friends of the accused, including Anne-Marie, sighed in relief as the verdicts were read out.

The pair, who are believed to have started dating in 2022, have tended to keep their relationship away from the spotlight. However, in February 2023 Slowthai spoke to Rolling Stone about how he and Anne-Marie were able to “talk and vent about stuff” together.

Last year the pair also welcomed their first child, Seven, into the world. Reflecting on becoming a mum, Anne-Marie spoke about the realities of being a working parent. “It is definitely the hardest thing working and being a mumma. I mean, it’s the hardest thing JUST being a mumma without the working part!

“So many people made it look so easy hahaha but here we are, peas in a pod. We’re doing it. She is so beautiful and so chunky and so perfect,” she wrote on Instagram in August. ALSO, having the BEST shows this summer has helped beautiful new memories made with all of you. Cannot wait for you to see what’s coming next.”
