TV favourite Lorraine Kelly has revealed she is in hospital and will undergo keyhole surgery today (May 3) after feeling unwell for “a little while”.
Lorraine posted a video from her hospital bed at lunchtime today.
She revealed: “Getting keyhole surgery – all preventative – feel very lucky to be treated so well – thank you Dr Raafat and all the staff!”

In the video, she shared more details. Lorraine also reassured her followers that she’s “going to be totally fine” after the operation.
She said: “Hi there, it’s Lorraine here. Just wanted to let you know I’m having a wee procedure today.”
I had some scans and tests and I have to have my ovaries and tubes taken out.
Revealing more details, Lorraine said: “I’ve not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests and I have to have my ovaries and tubes taken out.”
For anyone worried, she then added: “It’s purely preventative. It’s going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible. I’m being very well looked after and I’ll obviously see you very soon. I’m going to be totally fine. See you soon.”
Lorraine didn’t reveal why she needed her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.
