Bruno Tonioli of Britain’s Got Talent may be facing the chop from the ITV programme due to scheduling conflicts with his US show, Dancing With The Stars. It appears that Simon Cowell and the production team are already considering potential replacements for the judge.

Reports suggest that KSI has been well-received by audiences, making him a likely candidate to fill Bruno’s shoes on the panel. Bruno, a former Strictly Come Dancing judge, has been part of the show for two years since replacing David Walliams in 2023.

On the other hand, KSI, who commands a staggering social media following of 75 million, has had a taste of judging on the show through several guest appearances.

He stepped in for Bruno during periods when the latter was away filming in America.

A television insider revealed to The Sun: “There is no doubt that KSI’s social media clout is exactly what the BGT panel needs, and Simon loves the edge he brings.”

The source further explained: “TV isn’t getting the viewing figures it did a decade ago, so to have someone who can tell their followers to sit down and watch the box can have a real impact.”

They concluded: “Because of the scheduling issues, insiders are certain that Simon will offer KSI a more long-term position in the show.”

When approached for his opinion on KSI following their experiences on the ITV programme, he responded to the outlet with enthusiasm: “We’re both young, attractive, multi-talented stars, known the world over. Joking aside, I think KSI is fantastic – a real charming man, full of energy.

“We attended the Brits together too, which was a fabulous evening.”

February marked KSI’s debut on the show, promptly stirring an appeal from fans to have him installed as a permanent member of the team, reports the Mirror.

A source disclosed that there was a precedent set last year when Bruno was engaged with Dancing With The Stars during October but managed to participate in BGT auditions taking place in Blackpool.

The insider added: “In this year’s series, KSI stepped in as a guest judge for both Bruno and Simon on different audition dates.”

BGT and representatives of Bruno have been approached for comment.
