SHE was the standout star of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother thanks to her surprising romance with a housemate.

Now JoJo Siwa, who started a relationship with Chris Hughes while she was on the ITV show, is about to compete on the Great British Bake Off.

I can exclusively reveal that the American singer and reality TV star is one of the famous faces currently filming the Stand up to Cancer celebrity special for Channel 4.

A TV insider said: “This is a bit of a coup for the Bake Off because Jojo is currently one of the most talked about young stars on TV right now.

“She’s barely had time to catch her breath, leaving CBB last month amid huge media attention and heading straight into another huge show this month.

“It’s also a fantastic gig for her because although she already has a fanbase over here, the cookery contest also introduces her to a wider British audience.

“Plus she got plenty of experience of cooking in front of the cameras while she was on Celebrity Big brother, though this time she won’t have hunky Chris to distract her.”

Jojo actually became famous for her dancing/baking Tiktoks on the social media site, though they’re unlikely to help her much when she’s doing it for real.

The celebrity version of the Bake Off, whose participants have yet to be confirmed by C4, is being made just before filming of the “civilian” version.

Jojo might end up wishing she was back in the house with Mickey Rorrke…

The show kicks off this summer with Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond returning to host as well as Paul Hollywood coming back to give the celebs some serious scrutiny in the tent.

Channel 4 star Prue Leith has stepped back from all GBBO specials, with cooking expert, and pal, Caroline Waldegrave filling her shoes.

Last year, The Sun revealed how Prue had made the decision to step back from the Great British Bake Off specials and focus on the regular series.

Channel 4 previously confirmed Prue’s close friend Caroline would be taking over her role.

Caroline, 72, is a former managing director of Leiths School of Food & Wine, which she bought from Prue in the mid-90s.

Married to former Tory politician William Waldegrave, Lady Caroline has also co-written several successful cookery books.
