The 14th season of Death In Paradise is shaking things up once more, following the introduction of DI Mervin Wilson (played by Don Gilet) at the series’ outset.
Now, Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington) is retiring as the island’s police Commissioner, making way for a fresh face.

Sterling makes quite the entrance at the police station, decked out in a sharp suit and emerging from a swanky car.
His visit turns uncomfortable when he patronisingly calls the station “cute”, irking his new colleagues.
He’s set to ruffle feathers further, especially Mervin’s, as he meddles in the probe into his mother’s mysterious death.
The question remains: will Sterling win over the squad, or is turbulence on the horizon for the team’s relationship with their new Commissioner?
