Loose Women star Stacey Solomon shared some exciting family news with her followers, marking the occasion with a sweet Instagram post.The 34-year-old Pickle Cottage matriarch is married to reality star Joe Swash, and between them they have six children in their blended family. The couple have three kids together – Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, who has just turned one. Stacey has two older sons, Zach, 15 and Leighton, 11, from a previous relationship, while husband Joe’s first son, Harry, is 16.

Stacey shares her life with her doting army of 6 million Instagram followers, and she recently shared her surprise at how fast the time has gone since her youngest was born.

Posting on her Instagram, she shared a selection of photos and videos from the baby’s gorgeous first birthday party. Stacey captioned the post: “Happy First Birthday Belle One. I cannot believe a year ago today you came into the world. Where has the time gone.

“Belle, Although it feels like time has flown, since the moment we met you it’s felt like you’ve always been here. You light up every room. Your brothers and sisters adore you. You are the sweetest, kindest, caring, joyful, little soul and having the privilege of being your mummy is the best gift in the world. Happy birthday darling girl. Too the moon and stars and back again.”

Stacey’s adoring fans inundated the reality star with birthday messages for her daughter, sharing their delight at the red and pink-themed party. The girls could be seen wearing cute pink dresses, adorned with love hearts, and personalised with their names, while Stacey wore a chic pink midi knit. Joe donned chinos and a dusky pink knitted top.

Instagram)But as Stacey made a huge effort to celebrate her little one’s milestone birthday, she was targeted by trolls when she showed off the results of her incredible party decorations. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, she wrote: “Proud. I’ve finally finished Belle’s birthday decorations. I can’t wait for her to wake up to this full of love sensory display tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already. We are ready to celebrate you baby girl. To the moon and stars and back again Belle.”

But some followers shot down Stacey’s efforts, interrogating her about why she bothered to go to such lengths for the one-year-old’s birthday. One follower slammed the mum, saying: “She’s 1. Who’s it all for?” Another branded Stacey “self-indulgent”, saying: “Looks great, but more for an adult, not for 1 year old. It’s rather self indulgent. Sorry.”

“It’s all a bit over the top isn’t it?” someone else added, while another Instagram user wrote: “Love ya Stacey but this is too much. You’re putting all us other mums to shame.” But the majority of Stacey’s fans loved her thoughtful decorations, labelling her DIY skills “magic”. Stacey responded: “Love you all so much. Thanks for just being such a nice bunch of people. Just always so uplifting honestly. Reading your comments is the biggest boost EVER. Thank you.”
