Janette Manrara shared a sweet message to one of her former Strictly Come Dancing co-stars as he became her co-star again, almost six years after they quit the hit dance show.
It was revealed back in January that Janette would be taking on a huge new role – and it’s very different to what she’s used to. It was revealed that she’ll be making her stage debut in CHICAGO in the lead role of Roxie Hart as it tours the UK.
The dancer and presenter has since been seen taking to the stage in the iconic role but a recent stint performing in Ireland saw Janette take time apart from Aljaz Skorjanec, who headed to Slovenia to spend some time with his family, before their reunion over the weekend.
The couple, along with their one-year-old daughter, Lyra, have since ditched the UK for a week’s holiday in Mauritius and during her last performance until the end of the month in CHICAGO, Janette was seen saying farewell to Kevin Clifton as her co-star.
The dancer, who has taken on a variety of stage roles since quitting Stricictly in 2019, has been playing Billy Flynn in the hit musical but is now taking a break until May when he’ll return back to the role.
Alongside pictures of the pair dressed in all black outfits as their characters, Janette wrote on Instagram: “15 years of friendship w/ this one! And always one of THE BEST in the business at whatever he does!

“Thanks for being the ‘Billy’ to my ‘Roxie’! It was an absolute privilege to share the stage with you, Kevis! Love you to bits! Let’s say ‘until the next one’ for now! (Kevis and Janis reunite once again!! @chicagoonstage).”
Kevin’s partner Stacey Dooley was quick to respond as she gushed: “QTS,” which is slang for “cuties”. Strictly 2024 contestant Sarah Hadland also commented: “Oh I would love to of seen this.”
Fans were also keen to share their comments. @joanne010709 said: “I love this! My two favourite strictly pros!” @gisellepeacock commented: “Ahhhh love this.” @tara_lunn124 wrote: “You both were brilliant in Belfast on Thursday night!”
@nicole4coley replied: “Saw you both today in Belfast and you were amazing! What a show, loved it.” @wrightiesan10 posted: “Love you two together. Both complete stars.” @clairebull79 added: “Love you both. Hope you had a fabulous show!”
