Janette Manrara has been flooded with messages from fans as she finished the ‘final’ piece of the ‘childcare puzzle’ that she’s found herself in after she and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec signed up to Strictly Come Dancing’s popular tour.
The Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour saw fans of the BBC One dance contest flock to arenas across the country for the string of shows which rand from January 17 until the last show of the 2025 tour on Sunday night (February 9).
Actress Sarah Hadland, reality star Tasha Ghouri, JLS singer JB Gill, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and opera singer Wynne Evans, The X Factor winner Shayne Ward and Gladiators star Montell Douglas were all part of the celebrity line-up alongside a number of Strictly’s pro dancers, including Aljaz.
Meanwhile, Janette was once again hosting the tour after her presenting duties on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two. But while on the road, Janette admitted it had been a bit of a mission for her and Aljaz to organise due to now having their daughter, Lyra Rose, in tow.
Janette said back in January that it was “a puzzle” as she explained how her mum flew over from Miami to help out for the first half of the tour, with Aljaz’s sister then arriving in the UK for week with her two daughter, before she swapped over with her and Aljaz’s parents.
Following the end of the tour last weekend, Janette has now taken to social media with a number of sweet snaps of Lyra with her grandparents and said: “And the final week of the #StrictlyLiveTour childcare puzzle, was having @aljazskorjanec parents come and look after Lyra the final week of shows.
“They had THE BEST time and all the updates I kept getting from them were constant photos of Lyra smiling. Thank you @natasaskorjanec and Srečko for being such great grandparents and creating such beautiful memories w/ Lyra while mom and dad worked. I keep saying it, but it takes a village and knowing Lyra has so much love around even if far away, makes my heart smile.”
But as fans gushed of the sweet moments between grandparents and granddaughter, others were distracted by how much Aljaz resembled his father.
