GMB’s Ranvir Singh, 47, shares rare insight into relationship with partner, 29(Image: Getty Images for Ascot Racecourse)
Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh, 47, has shared a rare insight into her relationship with her younger partner Louis Church, 29. The presenter has remained mainly quiet about her personal life but opened up about her new relationship while discussing Louis’ relationship with her 13-year-old son, Tushaan.
It was only recently Ranvir felt secure enough to share more of herself with the world. In December, she opened up for the first time about becoming a single mum while she was pregnant with Tushaan. Ranvir married her now ex-husband, Ranjeet Singh Dehal, in 2012 and became pregnant with their son Tushaan, now 13.
Louis and Ranvir have been dating since 2020
A few years later, she “casually confirmed” (according to headlines at the time) on ITV Breakfast that she was single, but never addressed it further until her recent appearance on Kate Thornton’s White Wine Question Time podcast.
And in a recent interview with Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, the presenter gave another rare insight into her personal life as she opened up on her new boyfriend’s relationship with her son.
Speaking about how she approached introducing Louis to Tushaan, she explained: “I think when you have a child the bar is so much higher.

“You can take risks with your own life, but when you have a son you have to be sure this is someone who’ll be a positive force in his life. And Louis is.”
The ITV star revealed Louis bonds with Tushaan at ‘all the football games’ and even goes fishing with him. Ranvir has been dating Louis Church, a TV production manager, since 2020 – and has previously dismissed the interest in their 18-odd year age gap.
What was far more important to her, she previously said, was making sure that bringing a new partner into her life was 100% the right thing to do, for both herself and Tushaan.
“I think anybody who’s been in the position I’ve been in plays it very cautiously. It really isn’t just about you and your feelings,” she said to OK! last month. “We can throw caution to the wind for ourselves, but when we have children, our foot is always hovering over the brake pad because you think, ‘Hang on a minute, this isn’t just about me.’
“It’s not just about the relationship itself, but even thinking, ‘Have I got the time to introduce somebody? I don’t want to dilute my time with my son.’
“All those anxieties are really universal. Caution is the byword for anybody in my position. I think you take a lot longer to choose to integrate. It’s a much, much bigger and weightier decision than when it’s just you, for sure.
“Falling in love is a very brave decision, and to do it well is a lifelong journey.”
