Presenter Mark Wright has shared a sweet update on becoming a father for the first time with his wife Michelle Keegan.
The 38-year-old appeared on BBC’s The One Show to discuss his new DIY makeover show with hosts Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne.
But as they chatted with Mark and their other celebrity guests, Angela Rippon, Simone Ashley, and Sindhu Vee, presenter Lauren halted the show to congratulate Mark.
She said: “We’ve got to say congratulations because since we last saw you, you and your wife Michelle Keegan have announced that you’re expecting a baby. Your first child together, so it’s all go on the home front.”

Mark replied: “Thank you very much. Very exciting times ahead, a little bit nerve-wracking but I’m ready. I’m excited!”
Chiming in TV star Angela asked: “Are you going to decorate the nursery then?”
As he hesitated to give a reply, actresses Simone and Sindhu revealed that they would be happy to help with the decor as they jokingly offered their services.
Former Corrie star Michelle and Mark tied the knot in 2015 after first meeting backstage at The X Factor and later on at other celebrity events.

But the pair recently hit headlines following a burglary. Michelle and Mark reportedly sought refuge in a locked bedroom during a frightening break-in at their mansion last week.
The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18 when four intruders are said to have forced entry into their home. They searched the property before fleeing, according to Essex Police. Officers arrived at the scene in Ongar within eight minutes.
Former Towie star Mark reportedly heard a loud crash as a patio window was broken and quickly took Michelle, 37, to a locked bedroom where they waited for help to arrive. The burglars, described as wearing balaclavas and dark clothing, reportedly left empty-handed after hearing Mark shout.

According to reports, the couple’s high-tech security system alerted the authorities, leading to a quick police response to the break-in.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We are continuing to support and safeguard the victims and are conducting high-visibility patrols in the area.
“We are exploring a number of lines of inquiry including but not limited to forensic opportunities, CCTV and witness statements. Anyone with information should contact us as soon as possible.”
