Sir Rod Stewart made an exciting announcement with his fans regarding his upcoming global tour.

Believed to be among his last major international gigs, Sir Rod’s One Last Time tour will see him take to the stage in several different countries across the world.

The European trek of the concert kicks off pn April 23 at Zalgiris Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania, and runs through to May 13, when the musician will perform at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Maggie May hitmaker, 80, has now announced a second European leg which launches in November. The new tour dates mostly cover Germany, but will also see the singer perform in Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, and Greece.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Sir Rod wrote: “Europe, I’ve added more shows! You asked, and I delivered. Grab yours now!”

Fans of the singer couldn’t contain their excitement as they flooded the post with supportive messages.

“We can’t wait!!!” wrote one as a second penned: “So cool!! See you in May & December!”

Another shared: “Rod, thank you so so much for adding that show in Sofia! I am soooo excited that my family and I will see you live!”

It comes after it was announced that Sir Rod is set to join forces with Billy Joel for an exclusive one-night-only performance at New York’s Yankee Stadium on Friday, July 18.

The news was shared on Billy’s social media account, saying: “JUST ANNOUNCED: One-night-only performance! Billy Joel alongside two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart at Yankee Stadium in New York, NY, on Friday, July 18, 2025.”

According to Yankee Stadium representatives, the iconic duo will perform “their most beloved songs” spanning their decades-long careers.

Sir Rod will also be playing at Glastonbury later this year, but his alleged demands mean he won’t be performing at all festivals.

According to Mail Online, organisers at Henley Festival tried to book the rocker for the event but had to think again when he demanded more than £1 million.

“We did try to get Rod Stewart but he was expensive. Far too expensive,” a Henley insider told the publication.

Organisers were reportedly gobsmacked by the seven-figure asking price that went way beyond their budget. The Baby Jane singer also allegedly asked to travel via helicopter to and from the site.
