PIERS Morgan has claimed that Donald Trump is right to complain about America bailing Europe out over Ukraine on his return to Good Morning Britain.
The Sun columnist and Piers Morgan Uncensored host, 59, returned to the ITV programme today – four years after he stormed off the set and quit.

Piers spoke with Ed Balls and Susanna Reid about his own experience falling out with Donald Trump.
But he also conceded that the US President was right about some things after he clashed with Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House.
Piers said: “Trump quite rightly believes the Europeans have not stepped up enough in their defence of Ukraine.
“We haven’t, no other European country has, we’re now stepping up more and Trump will respect that.
“Look at the NATO spending pie, why should America – if you’re the Americans – keep spending way more than anyone else.”
Piers said he believed that this was the “key to the tension”.
Speaking about the issue, Piers also said he believed Keir Starmer had “played a blinder” after he met with the US president over the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
He said that was pleased to see that Starmer has “found his mojo as a Prime Minister”.
The PM has spoken with Donald Trump multiple times over the past couple of days, as he has said he wants to “bridge” the rift between the US and Ukraine.
Piers went on to give an insight on the US president and how there were different ways to approach him.
He said: “You either kiss the ring a bit or don’t. We know he responds well to flattery.
“I’ve had screaming matches with Donald Trump and then an hour later we are laughing and joking doing a fun interview, literally.
“I always think with him, focus on what he does, not what he says or the general drama and chaos.
“Secondly I think that he is almost uniquely in modern times, a Republican president in America who wants peace not war.”
The former GMB host said that “ultimately Trump wants peace” and that things could change in the next few weeks.
But he also criticised how Trump and JD Vance rounded on President Zelensky on Friday, destabilising moves towards a peace deal.
Piers also shared an awkward moment with Susanna Reid as she refused to hug him on his return.
And at the end of the interview, Piers surprisingly called for Alex Beresford to be brought back into the studio to “get the whole family back together”.
The TV host dramatically left GMB in March 2021 after he stormed off set following a heated debate with Beresford live on air.
In a shock move yesterday, Piers took to social media to tell his followers of his impending return.
He wrote: “BREAKING: It’s been nearly 4yrs (1,453 days to be precise!) since I departed @gmb rather hastily… but tomorrow morning, for the first time, I’m going back.
“I’ll be on with @susannareid100 & @edballs at 8.15am.”
Piers stopped short of revealing why he’s appearing on Good Morning Britain, but fans flooded him with support – and called for a full time return.
A second replied: “Not the same without you @piersmorgan.”
“I be definitely watching tomorrow then,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “If you’re back , I’m back watching.”
The dad-of-four left the ITV breakfast show in 2021 in a row over his comments about Meghan Markle.
Piers’s view was that Meghan repeatedly lied during a bombshell TV interview with Oprah Winfrey and badly besmirched the Royal Family.
The news anchor previously told The Sun how ITV bosses asked him to return to GMB.
