EXCLUSIVE: Peter Andre has shared his pride in his two eldest children, Princess and Junior, as they made a “beautiful” gesture to go and visit their grandma, who is battling Alzheimer’s

The singing star, who is also set to celebrate his 52 birthday (but believes ‘age is just a number’), also reveals his excitement for the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother – and catching the latest Bridget Jones film in the cinema.
Bridget’s back
I can’t believe it’s been 24 years since the first Bridget Jones film came out, it was so iconic. She’s so relatable and I think that’s why everyone loves her. In the new film she’s single, she’s a widowed mum ready to find love again and I think a lot of people can relate to that too. I’m really looking forward to eventually seeing it when I can.

Birthday wishes
It’s my birthday this week and I’m turning 52. I’m in good company with Drew Barrymore and Julie Walters – who are both Pisces too – and you know what? I feel great at this age. I really believe age is just a number. I’d even say I feel as good in my fifties as I did in my thirties, that’s for sure.

My wonderful children!
Junior and Princess flew out to see my mum in Australia last week and I love them both so much for doing it. They’re such beautiful children and it makes me so grateful that they’re out there with her as I write this. I would’ve loved to have gone with them, but I’ve only just got back and I’m working. I love them so much for doing it and I know it’ll make my mum really, really happy.

Growing up
Emily and I are championing National Random Acts of Kindness Day. It’s never too late to focus on kindness, and it’s not about preaching. We all make mistakes, everybody does, I certainly have, but it’s not about what you’ve done, it’s about what you do going forward. I’ve definitely become a better person as I’ve grown up, and I’ve learnt that kindness is the most important thing in life. Being kind and having a lot of love in your heart, that’s what life’s about.

Big Brother’s watching…
I’m definitely going to try and watch Celebrity Big Brother this year. It’s been around for ages and is one of those shows that everyone was watching and talking about at one point, but because there’s so many series it’s easy to miss a year. It’s always a good one when it comes to the celebrity version though! I can’t wait to see who’ll be in the house this year.
