Former boxer Tony Bellew appeared on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show to play Send to All – but fans weren’t happy.
Michael McIntyre’s Big Show fans were switching channels on Saturday night as they all made the same complaint.
The comedian was back on the BBC after Gladiators was yanked off air due to the FA Cup coverage from Match of the Day, with special guest Tony Bellew in the hot seat for Send to All.
The ex-boxer handed his phone over to Michael, who sent a text to all his contacts – but not before looking through the apps collected on his phone. The audience were left giggling over his money-saving apps, including the Lidl and Toby Carvery loyalty apps.
But people at home weren’t as amused, with some complaining that the current cost of living crisis means everyone has to scrimp and save – and it shouldn’t be looked down on.
One X user tweeted: “Turned it off. Utter BS. Bring back Noel’s House Party!” Another echoed: “What? Are the audience actually laughing at someone who likes to spend carefully, and actively looks for bargains? In this economy?”

Someone else agreed: “Turned #BigShow off. So grating. But it feels a bit sickly to be laughing at people for using loyalty apps (even though celebs can afford not to) when regular people are struggling.”
And another echoed: “Send to All should be scrapped. It’s dull and too contrived.”
Later, Michael snuck into the house of The Last Leg star Josh Widdicombe to play the Midnight Gameshow – and eagle-eyed viewers noticed something strange about the broadcast.

When Michael stood outside of the property holding the key to the house, producers had blurred it out in case fans tried to copy the key from the image.
Taking to X, one user wrote incredulously: “Michael McIntyre holds up the key to Josh Widdicombe’s house and they have to blur it in case any crim crims manage to exactly copy it and gain access.”
“I’ve heard of that happening!” someone else echoed.
