Megan McKenna has shared details about her wedding preparations with fiancé Oliver Burke, including the sweet role their baby son Landan will have. During an appearance on Lorraine, hosted by Christine Lampard, the 32 year old former The Only Way Is Essex star discussed her new Sunday Times Bestselling cookbook, Love Gluten Free. Megan, who often goes viral on TikTok for her gluten-free recipes, was joined backstage by her adorable son Landan.
Megan and footballer Oliver welcomed Landan in October 2024, over a year after getting engaged. Now, Megan is opening up about her wedding plans. She told Christine that she’s “loving wedding planning,” but is feeling the pressure to fit into her dress due to her love of food.

As Landan watched from backstage, Megan revealed that he’ll be serving as the ring bearer at the upcoming wedding. The family recently relocated to Germany due to Oliver’s football career, reports the Mirror. When asked by Christine about her German language skills, Megan joked: “Not very well.”
When Megan and Oliver got engaged, she posted the cutest video with the caption: “YES YES YES a thousand times YES. You have opened up a world I never thought was possible. I love you Oliver Burke… here’s to forever my future husband.”

Oliver sweetly replied: “I promise to love you for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to grow old with you my wife to be. I love you. Forever. And always.”
Fast forward to April 2024, less than a year later, and the couple shared another heartwarming video to announce their pregnancy. But it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Megan, who later revealed her struggles with a tough pregnancy, including a ‘painful abscess’ and a severe allergic reaction to medication that caused swelling around her tongue and neck, sending her to hospital.
During those challenging moments, she confided in her fans: “Now it’s all about trying to get better, it’s just so bad. Just being pregnant has made my body so much more sensitive, I am allergic to everything.”
She continued sharing her ordeal: “I’ve been in so much pain. I’ve been on codeine and paracetamol and when I say that the codeine just takes the edge off, I have still been in pain. Honestly, it’s the worst thing ever, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”
