Strictly Come Dancing star JB Gill’s wife Chloe confessed that she was “brought to breaking point” in 2024 as she strove to please her loved ones. JB kicked off his Strictly journey with Welsh dance ace Amy Dowden, who made a valiant return to the show post her breast cancer battle. Nevertheless, an unfortunate foot injury led Amy to bow out, paving the way for Lauren Oakley to step in and whirl JB to the finals.
Taking to Instagram, Chloe revealed how relentless last year proved to be as she said: “Last year was possibly one of the most personally challenging for me. Keeping everything going, being everywhere, supporting everyone, living up to everybody’s expectations and trying to keep those around me happy in the midst of this fast-paced life we live was exhausting and overwhelming.” Reaching a tipping point, people noted her presence but missed her spirit as she recounted: “It got to the point where people began saying that I was physically there but mentally absent! I was en route to burning out so this break was well and truly needed!!”, reports Wales Online.

Chloe revealed her inner strength amidst adversity, stating: “I learned a lot about myself, the main thing being that somewhere deep inside me, I have a grit and determination will not allow me to break. I had multiple tests and situations that brought me close to breaking point but each time I realised that it was nothing a good cry and pulling up those big girl pants couldn’t sort out.”
She further declared her intention to focus on self-care in 2025, prioritising kindness towards herself and nurturing her mind, body, and soul.
Chloe and JB married back in January 2014 after four years of being together. They met when Chloe was a back-up dancer for JLS – while the singer described the big day as “the best day of my life”
Chloe and JB welcomed their first child together, a son named Ace on 19 September 2014, and welcomed their second child in 2017. The new mum shared the happy news of the baby’s birth on Instagram, revealing she’d welcomed a baby girl called Kiki. She penned: “You’ve been in our lives just over a week and I can’t believe how much love you’ve brought to our family!”
The family now regularly share sweet videos together, with Ace and Kiki helping their parents in the kitchen.
