Emmerdale fans have been left fearing for Noah Dingle’s life as his half-brother Joe Tate tries to convince him to move to Dubai for work.

Emmerdale viewers are on tenterhooks over the fate of Noah Dingle (portrayed by Jack Downham) as his half-brother Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) attempts to lure him to Dubai for work. After a six-year hiatus, Joe made an enigmatic comeback to the village in December and has been causing a stir at Home Farm ever since.

However, he’s also concealing a serious health problem. In recent episodes, Joe has been seen popping painkillers to ease symptoms including chest pains, but the exact nature of his ailment remains undisclosed.

When Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) found him unconscious in his car with a bottle of pills nearby, she demanded an explanation.

Joe quickly spun a tale about being addicted to painkillers, and later fed the same story to a sceptical Kim Tate (Claire King).

Meanwhile, Joe has been making efforts to bond with Noah, expressing a desire to foster a brotherly relationship.

However, behind the scenes, Joe has been sabotaging Noah’s reputation as an electrician by posting negative reviews online, while simultaneously trying to win him over with gifts.

On Wednesday (February 5), a worried Noah confided in his mum Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) about losing work due to the fake reviews, reports Leeds Live.

Joe then showed up at The Woolpack, where he spoke about his grand business venture in Dubai and persuaded Noah to consider relocating there for a lucrative job with free accommodation.

Charity was left seething as Joe took an unwelcome interest in Noah’s life, his aspirations seemingly pushing him towards a career overseas. Yet, there might be a menacing reason behind his actions.

Emmerdale enthusiasts speculate that Joe is desperately seeking an organ transplant and is plotting to lure Noah to Dubai to exploit him for his organs.

Fans have been airing their theories on social media, with one commenting: “Apparently he’s going to ask him to move to Dubai with him, still think he needs something a kidney?? Bit of liver or something else??”

Another viewer expressed concern: “#Emmerdale does Joe wanna kidnap Noah and nick a kidney or something worse.”

A third fan chimed in: “Joe wants an organ off Noah. Why did Caleb not confront Caine or Ruby? #emmerdale.”

Yet another surmised: “I think he is talking to a doctor. I think he needs to find a donor and that’s why he’s so interested in Noah,” suggesting Joe’s motives are more sinister than they appear.
