A nepo baby was left red-faced during an embarrassing interview on The Chris Moyles Show on Tuesday after host Dominic Byrne had no idea who she is.
Despite his guest co-hosting a popular podcast with her very famous dad, who starred on a hit BBC show from 2002 until 2015, Dominic was clueless and struggled to remember her name.
After the host’s awkward questions, the nepo baby revealed the pair had met before and the presenter had also worked with her TV star dad.
While trying to guess who she was, Dominic asked if she was in ‘film or music’ after leaving school in which she denied both.
But do you know who she is? And who is her famous father?

That’s right it’s Izzy Hammond! Daughter of Top Gear star Richard Hammond.
Dominic started the interview by stating: ‘Hello there, guest. Lovely to see you. Urm, what’s your name?’, prompting the 24-year-old to reply: ‘My name is Izzy.’
He said: ‘Izzy. Yes, that’s right. This is Izzy of course. And Izzy, well, what a journey you’ve had. And it all started, of course, you went to school. And after that, I imagine you left school.’
She added: ‘I did that, yeah.’
Dominic continued: ‘So obviously, from the world of film. You like film.’
‘I enjoy watching a film. Yeah, sure,’ she awkwardly said.
Dominic then attempted to guess who Izzy was, he said: ‘Film aside, music is a passion’, which Izzy quickly shut down once again.
He added: ‘As do you. That’s right. So, in terms of where you pigeonhole yourself, and I don’t want to pigeonhole you, I just want to find out you know more about you. Do you like gardening?’
Laughing, she replied: ‘Again, I don’t know if gardening is my thing.’

Izzy later revealed that she is part of a duo and that the presenter had actually worked with her Total Wipeout star dad Richard before.
She explained: ‘I’m sort of part of a duo, as you well know. Well we’ve gone solo today. Yeah, because he’s actually gone solo before, and with you, actually. As you remember, obviously.’
Leaving Dominic puzzled he asked: ‘He’s gone solo with me before?’
‘Yes, yes the two of you have chatted,’ she replied.
After revealing her partner is a relation, Dominic asked if it was a ‘brother or uncle’ before guessing her dad.
Eventually realising who Izzy is, the host said: ‘Now, I’ve met your dad. And we’ve met before. Is your dad very good at driving cars, and I’ve met him and you before.’
The cringeworthy chat eventually came to a close with Dominic concluding, ‘It’s been a pleasure and regards to your dad.’
Richard shares Izzy and daughter Willow, 22, with estranged wife Mindy, who he split from in January after 28 years of marriage.
Richard and Izzy co-present their podcast Who Are We Now, which they started in 2024.

It comes after Izzy opened up last month on Richard’s two crashes that left him ‘barely a human’.
Richard was hospitalised after crashing a Vampire Dragster at a speed in excess of two-hundred miles-per-hour while filming a segment for Top Gear in 2006.
In the Road to Success Podcast, Izzy said the crash affected the members of the family in ‘varying different ways’.
She said: ‘The recovery was the thing that affected us as a family. Everyone talks about the crash and about how it was massive and scary. It was more that he was absolutely doolally for months and months afterwards.
‘He was just not with it at all so I just have a lot of gaps in memory of him as a dad because for a long time he wasn’t.
‘He was barely a human, he could barely function. He was trying to relearn how to be a human being, let alone be a father figure.’
Izzy, who co-presents the podcast Who Are We Now with her father, revealed that her mother would change the date of her birthday as a child due to Richard’s hectic Top Gear schedule.
With the crash happening during Top Gear filming it meant that Izzy’s birthday party was held in the hospital as her father was fighting for his life.
‘I remember having a little mini birthday party in the hospital up in Leeds as my mum was trying to keep things as normal as possible for me and my sister,’ she said.
‘There were all my little cousins and I was like “amazing all my little cousins are here” and I was like “why are they all here?” and it’s because their dads are in the room with my dad hoping he is going to be okay.’
She continued: ‘He was in hospital for a while. No one knew what was happening. He was in a coma, his vitals weren’t brilliant. Everyone was just trying to keep it as normal as possible.’
Tune into The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X weekdays from 6:30am – 10am and the new series of Who We Are Now with Izzy & Richard Hammond is available to listen on Global Player.
