Dianne Buswell has told fans she and her boyfriend Joe Sugg are off on a new adventure as they ditched the UK shortly after the dancer wrapped up her commitments with Strictly Come Dancing.

As fans of the hit dance show know, the dancer and comedian Chris McCausland were crowned champions of the BBC One dance contest’s 2024 series in emotional scenes at the end of a glittering grand final in December.

Dianne has since been touring the country with a number of her co-stars following her win last year. She signed up as one of the ensemble dancers in Strictly Come Dancing Live tour after Chris was unable to sign up for the shows, which has been filling arenas since January 17 until the last show of the 2025 tour on Sunday night (February 9).

Ahead of the last show, the Australian star took to Instagram with a video featuring clips she’d captured throughout the tour of her and her co-stars behind-the-scenes as well as the time they spent together during down time.

Captioning the post, Dianne wrote to her 1.1 million followers: “What a tour with a bunch of el prems!!! Let’s enjoy two more together [heart emojis] @strictlycomedancinglive.”

Days after the last show and on Tuesday (February 11), Dianne confirmed she was jetting off with Joe, who she met when they were partnered together on Strictly, and made the final, back in 2018.

Alongside a selfie of the pair as they enjoyed a drink in an airport lounge, Dianne wrote on her Instagram Story; “Off we trot”. The couple were then seen in a second snap sporting fresh new sunglasses, with the Strictly winner commenting: “Tell me you’ve just walked through duty free without telling me!!!!”

Her updates come after Dianne politely responded to those sending her messages about her personal life after she was targeted for not having children. Taking to Instagram on Saturday (February 8), Dianne revealed she’d been subject to unkind messages and wanted to put out a ‘reminder’ to those sending them.

She shared a screenshot of one of the messages which read: “Can’t believe you’re the only one who still hasn’t got kids yet. Your parents must be proud of your brothers for working and giving them grandchildren.” The cruel message came after Dianne was seen bursting with pride of her niece returning to Polish dance class.

Sharing the message to her Instagram Story, Dianne then wrote in view of her 1.1 million followers: “Wasn’t going to post this but recently, I have been receiving a lot of msgs like this regarding very personal things! So I wanted to just remind the internet to really think before sending a msg or commenting on someone else’s life.”
