Danny Jones has made his first appearance on TV since he was spotted kissing Maura Higgins.
The McFly singer, 38, who shares seven-year-old son Cooper with his wife Georgia, was seen cosying up to his I’m A Celebrity co-star at a BRIT Awards afterparty over the weekend.
The musician is yet to speak publicly on the scandal, but featured in a pre-recorded segment on The One Show alongside bandmate Tom Fletcher.
The duo presented an award for the BBC programme’s 500 Words literature contest for youngsters. Danny announced: “The silver winner in the age five to seven category is…Fun Cats by Michael Morley.”
Filmed before the scandal on February 26, the segment featured The One Show’s hosts Roman Kemp and Alex Jones congratulating children’s short story competition winners in an episode at Buckingham Palace.

Reflecting on the event, Danny shared: “Today has been fun. Having a little boy myself, the power of stories, the power of imagination. It’s inspiring me, not just the kids, so it’s been an amazing day.”
Danny and Tom, 39, concluded the show by singing their hit, All About You, on stage. Despite their close relationship, Tom has reportedly been left feeling “uncomfortable” by his bandmate’s behaviour.
A source told The Sun: “Tom is by no means a party animal – in fact he made it quite clear the afterparty was not on his mind, but Danny had other ideas. Tom wasn’t there when the pair were seen getting close, but feels he is still associated with what went on.”
They added that Tom “doesn’t even know Maura” as he doesn’t usually mix with Love Island stars.

The episode marked Danny’s first public appearance since his shocking kiss with Maura, which has left Georgia feeling “humiliated”.
The 38-year-old, who tied the knot with The Masked Singer winner in 2014, also hasn’t addressed the matter, but pulled out of a public Q&A this weekend.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Sitting down for a Q&A in front of a live audience is not what Georgia needs right now. She is mortified at how this has all played out and can’t help but feel humiliated.”
The Sun obtained footage of Danny and Maura, 34, getting cosy at the BRITs bash. The video was reportedly taken just before 3am and features the pair standing close and chatting in the venue’s foyer.
The released footage shows Maura kissing Danny on the cheek before he appears to lean in and peck her.
