Conor Maynard has confirmed that he is not the father of Charlotte Chilton’s baby.

After months of speculation that Conor, 32, is the father of The Traitors star’s baby, the singer has revealed that a paternity test has proved otherwise.

‘I took a paternity test regarding Charlotte Chilton’s baby girl, Penelope, in the presence of her legal representative,’ he began in a statement on Instagram.

‘Today I’ve received the test results which confirm I am not Penelope’s father.

‘I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end.

‘All I would ask is that people act with kindness in response to this news – there is a child at the heart of all of this, and that should not be forgotten.

‘I wish Charlotte and her family all the best.’

This news comes after Charlotte claimed that she had been ghosted by Conor after revealing he was the father.

The TV star, 33, gave birth to her baby girl Penelope in October, saying her ‘heart is full’ after a difficult pregnancy and having suffered seven miscarriages and failed IVF in the past.

After her daughter’s birth, Charlotte revealed that she looked identical to Conor, and she hadn’t heard from him since her daughter was born.

‘He knows. I’ve not heard anything,’ Charlotte told OK! magazine.

She went on: ‘There’s been days where I’ve been in tears because I’m sitting here thinking, “I’ve got a daughter that looks f*****g identical to you.”

‘She’s got his eyes, his hair, his facial expressions.’

Speaking to Metro in June 2024, she revealed that she met Conor in a London nightclub, Raffles, after being encouraged to meet him by her Traitors co-star winner Harry Clark – who is dating Conor’s younger sister Anna.

‘He insisted on having that party there because he wanted to meet me, and he knew I was newly single,’ she recalled.

‘I very nearly didn’t go at all because I didn’t even know who Conor Maynard is. Harry was putting on the pressure.’

She revealed that after the night out, they then spent the night together, and soon afterwards she announced her pregnancy.

The star gave birth in October 2024 and revealed her newborn daughter to the world with an adorable post.

‘Princess Penelope has arrived and we have been enjoying our “Penelope bubble” so much, I am going to be off the radar for a little longer, whilst I enjoy these magical moments with my precious girl!!

‘Thank you to all that have checked in to make sure I am ok!! 💗 my heart is full xx’
