CELEBRITY Big Brother star Jack P Shepherd has been accused of begging for a discount on carpets due to his celeb status.
Jack, 37, has portrayed David Platt in Coronation Street since joining in 2000.

Writing on X, a social media user – who is a Carpetright manager -claimed Jack once attempted to nab a discount on bedroom carpets – due to his ITV soap fame.
They penned: “We once quoted for new bedroom carpets for him.
“He expected a large discount because he was an actor on Corrie. I refused so he went elsewhere.”
Jack’s reps have been approached for comment.
The revelation came as Jack discussed his upcoming wedding during an episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
Speaking to fellow housemate Danny Beard, he admitted: “Food costs a f*****g fortune. I’m not a***ed for it.”
This prompted comedian Donna Preston to joke: “Just get Greggs to sponsor you, babe.”
To which Jack replied: “They won’t. No one’s a***ed. No one’s interested.”
Donna continued: “Yeah, they will. Surely your management can get Maccies or something.”
Drag Race UK star Danny agreed, saying: “Just Instagram them! Gregg’s would be a shout in the evening.
“You need good food int he day and then something cool like that in the night, Greggs.”
While Ella Rae Wise chimed in: “You can get a McDonald’s truck, can’t you? And they serve you cheeseburgers and chips!”
Although Jack seemed to think this would be “tacky”, many of his housemates seemed behind the idea.
An unimpressed viewer wrote on X: “Jack P Shepherd – who earns around quarter of a million per year for #corrie, and 100k for this stint on #cbbuk – whinging about food costs for his wedding, and his fellow celebs telling him to message caterers on Instagram to do him a deal.
“Oh my heart bleeds. F*****g plebs.”
Back in 2023, Jack’s Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley hit headlines after she was accused of trying to blag free birthday cakes – something she insisted she knew nothing about.
The Three Little Birds bakery owner Rebecca Severs – known as Bec – shared an email exchange between her and a firm representing an initially unidentified star later revealed to be Catherine.
It asked for a 40th birthday cake, 100 cupcakes and an extra smaller birthday cake for her husband in return for exposure.
But Catherine insisted she had “no idea” the emails were being sent, adding: “I hope the cake lady got the exposure she was craving.”
Fans were quick to hit out, blasting her reply as “tone deaf”.
