Nadiya Bychkova has declared her love for her Strictly Come Dancing co-star after giving them a show of support over their latest move.
Nadiya was among those there to support Janette Manrara as she made her official stage debut. It was previously announced that the dancer and presenter would be taking on the lead role of ‘Roxie Hart’ in CHICAGO as the iconic musical tours the UK.
Janette performed in the role on stage for the first time on Monday night (March 3) and on Tuesday (March 4), she reflected on her first performance as she was surrounded by her loved ones, including her husband Aljaz Skorjanec and friend Nadiya.
Sharing a sweet picture of her and Aljaz together in her dressing room, which was filled with cards and flowers in a show of support for her new move, as well as a selfie featuring Janette and the other familiar faces who were there to see her, Janette said: “Wow. No words for last night.
“The icing on the cake would have been to have my family here to watch, but friends are also the family we choose. Thank you for coming to support me Bučko (@aljazskorjanec), and also to my agents and beautiful friends. My heart felt so full of love. What a beautiful tribe I have surrounding me.”
Nadiya was quick to comment on the post, writing: “Absolutely loved watching you shine last night and living your dream. You’re incredible. Love you lots.”
She also showed her support on her own Instagram Story. Alongside a video of Janette doing her final bow on the night, Nadiya said: “Absolutely amazing @jmanrara @chicagoonstage. Love you my friend.”

She then uploaded a selfie of the pair to her Instagram Story and said: “Proud of you my beautiful friend @jmanrara. You absolutely smashed it. Love you lots.”
It comes after Nadiya was flooded with support herself from fans as she marked another week of her own headline tour. Sharing pictures from from the stage as well as behind-the-scenes, the pro dancer said on Instagram: “Another amazing week of touring with “A Special Evening with Nadiya’.
“Loving every moment of it, love sharing the stage with incredibly talented @cutlerjm. Thank you for being so wonderful. Trying to take it all in.. grateful for all the chats and questions…Living the dream every night I am on stage.
“Thank you for all your support, love, kind words and all the messages. I am a very lucky girl. Big thank you to @mrdanwalker for joining me on stage last night in Barnsley. It was so much fun.”
Channel 5 News presenter and Nadiya’s former Strictly dance partner Dan was quick to respond as he said: “You have made a really brilliant show Nadiya. No surprise that the feedback has been amazing. Thanks for inviting me on stage to interview you. I’d like to apologise to Shirley Ballas for telling the Kilimanjaro story.”
