Question Time viewers were left raging as Fiona Bruce was called out for interrupting the pane; during the latest edition of the BBC show.
She was joined by Labour’s armed forces minister Luke Pollard MP and former chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee Alicia Kearns MP, from the Conservatives, as well as Dr Maya Goodfellow, entrepreneur John Caudwell and US editor of Spectator magazine Freddy Gray.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump’s meeting was a huge topic of discussion, as well as the war between Russia and Ukraine.
But as Fiona Bruce tried to keep control of the show, frustrated viewers took to social media to hit out at her for constantly interrupting.
One said: “Question Time is unwatchable now. Fiona Bruce is insufferable, butting in constantly and not letting anyone finish etc. Used to be a decent program too. David Dimbleby is sadly missed.”
Another added: “Why, Fiona Bruce constantly interrupt? She asks a question but doesn’t let anyone complete an answer..unless a Conservative of course! The power pen is in full force tonight..it’s like her big finger. Please get rid… time to hang up the exhausted biro.”

A third chipped in: “Will Fiona actually stop asking her own questions and let the panel actually answer the question put by the audience.”
A fourth swiped: “Gosh! Common sense & truth on #BBCQT. Fiona won’t have liked that!”
One example of Fiona cutting in was when an audience member asked MP Luke Pollard: “”Will increasing defence and reducing overseas aid keep us secure?”
One of the other guests chimed in as they asked: “So, what percentage do you think we need on defence, if you like?”
He replied it was a “difficult decision” and added: “So, as the armed forces minister we spend about £66 billion at the moment and in April 2027 we will be spending £79 billion.”
Fiona seemed unimpressed with the answer as she turned to the audience and said: “Does that answer your question?”
Pollard added that it was a “difficult decision” as Fiona bluntly reacted: “We know, you have made that point.
“Freddy is asking you what percentage do you think should be used as armed forces minister?” And as he struggled to continue, she asked: “Ok, you are not answering the question. Are you just not going to answer it?
“Look at your face. You don’t want to answer this question do you?”
Question Time airs 10.40pm on BBC1.
