Jasmine Harman has opened up to her fans on the 21st anniversary of her start on A Place In The Sun. The property expert is a regular host of the Channel 4 show and has helped others find their dream homes for over 20 years.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of two thanked her fans for the continuing support and reminisced about who she had met whilst working on the show, including her late co-star Jonnie Irwin.
She penned: “I can’t quite believe it’s been 21 years since I started on @aplaceinthesunofficial. I’ve had the best time and met some of the most incredible people on this journey including my wonderful husband @jboasty_dop and of course my lovely friend Jonnie Irwin.
“Thank you for welcoming me into your living room.” She also added numerous emojis, including a sun and a television.
Jonnie, who worked alongside Jasmine on the property show, lost his battle with terminal lung cancer last year. He was diagnosed back in 2020 and it was confirmed that he had died on Friday February 2.
Since his death, Jasmine took time away from social media but recently returned to filming later in the year. She led a devastating tribute following the news of Jonnie’s death, saying that he was “so charismatic and energetic.”
She said: “Your cheeky-chappy persona and naughty sense of humour always broke the ice and made people laugh. Everyone warmed to you and you had the incredible ability to connect with people, making them feel like they’d known you for years.”
Jasmine continued: “Jonnie, you’ve taught me so much in our time as work colleagues and as good friends. I have never admired you more than over the last few years as you’ve faced life with cancer with positivity, determination and bloody mindedness.

Many of Jasmine’s fans left plenty of heart-warming comments in reaction to the milestone. One person typed: “21yrs and you don’t look a day over 21! You’re our favourite presenter alongside Jonnie, who we miss too RIP.”
A second also said: “Thanks for your sunshine over the past 21 years @jasmineharman & I’m not talking weather. We all miss Johnny too – bless him.” [sic]
A third chimed in: “Jasmine, you are so lovely, my favourite presenter. You really emotionally engage with your house hunters,I’m in tears with you! I would love a little place in the sun but meanwhile will keep watching your lovely programmes! X.”
