A WOMAN has spoken about dating MAFS’s ‘worst groom ever’ and said she’s ‘embarrassed.’

Viewers have been left fuming after watching primary school teacher Tim Groomie, 37, brutally reject his bride Katie Johnstone, 37, on the show.

At the beginning of the week, fans watched in horror as Tim raged at producers that Katie “wasn’t his type”, just seconds after they were married.

Ever since then, he has refused to give his bride the time of day.

But things came to an emotional head this week, when Tim cruelly told Katie that it was her physical appearance that he wasn’t attracted to.

He said he prefers ‘petite blondes,’ and a woman has now claimed she’s given Tim ‘unrealistic standards.’

Posting a TikTok about Tim, business owner Amea May, 32, shared details of their romance.

She said: “I am actually one of the sad saps who went on a date with this man who thinks he is God’s gift to women, and if you’re wondering, he’s not.

“He gave me the ick the whole time and you could just tell that he thought very, very highly of himself.”

Amea went on to say they “hooked up” in 2019, and added that he would “persistently message” before they went on their coffee date.

She said in the video that she actually only ended up dating Tim because she’d been “going through the attractive guys really quickly” on the dating app.

Adding: “So, you start to go for the guys who maybe are just not good at taking photos. You think, I’ll give it a go, maybe they look better in real life. Also, I’m not a b*tch so I’ll give a chance to a medium-ugly guy.”

She added in an interview with Daily Mail Australia: “We had the coffee date, and then I told him I wasn’t interested, and he contacted me very persistently. I mean, obviously it [the one night stand] wasn’t very memorable.”

And she showed the publication a message from Tim too, which is reported to have said: “Hey was fun last night if you wanted to again.”

Amea is now engaged to be married.

Viewers have watched awkwardly as Tim has practically ignored his new while Katie, the whole time they were on their honeymoon.

He also didn’t try to comfort her, when she was clearly distressed by the outcome of the conversation about him not being attracted to her.

Speaking to the camera in floods of tears, the poor bride said: “It’s so unfair, I’m trying to get to know him but it’s so obvious that he’s not into me because of my physical side.

Continuing to weep, she said: “There’s no lust, there’s no spark, I’ve put it all together, I’m not an idiot.

“Like why come here, if you’re not going to be open.”

Wiping away tears, Katie added: “This sucks. Like after so many years, what is there?

“Rejection, after rejection, the common denominator is me.

“I’ve tried everything else and now this isn’t working either.”

Fans found this very hard to watch and had full sympathy for Katie, but were NOT happy with Tim.

Venting on social media, one said: “I really don’t like seeing Tim on my screen ughh, he said he’s ’enjoying’ getting to know her but hasn’t made any effort towards getting to know Katie, he’s so set on the attraction but darling have you looked in the mirror yourself??”
