Dancing On Ice fans have begged bosses to BAN the dangerous skating move that they claimed ‘will kill a contestant one day’ – after a ‘risky’ routine left them ‘screaming’ at their screens on Sunday.

The remaining celebrities took to the ice rink to show off their best moves in a bid to win a place in the semi-final.

One famous face who pulled out all the stops was Traitors star Mollie Pearce, 23, and her partner Colin Grafton.

The pair skated to ABBA‘s Mamma Mia and she successfully performed a number of moves including a cartwheel, scorpion lift and the dreaded head banger during the performance.

Those watching at home were left cringing watching the risky move and rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their concerns.

One wrote: ‘I do not like the headbanger. That thing should be banned #dancingonice.’

Another added: ‘That headbanger had me screaming to stop! #dancingonice #DOI.’

A third chimed in: ‘Nothing clever about a headbanger. Someone will die one day through this unnecessary risk.’

After the performance Mollie was awarded an incredible 35.5 points.

Ashley Banjo said: ‘What a start. Some really lovely moments. We’re still seeing all of the improvement that we spoke abut last week. I think what is critical this week, the character and how you perform.

To say it simply, I just think you performed your socks off.

‘You were so committed to the character, you gave her so much energy, so much commitment to the piece, you completed the headbanger.

‘For me, great, great skate.’

Jayne congratulated her on the scary move,  while Oti Mabuse thought that she ‘brought the energy’.

Christopher Dean pointed out that the moment around the ice as well as the headbanger was ‘great’.

But shockingly, despite the amazing comments from judges and score, Mollie was the sixth contestant to be voted off the show.

The Traitors star ended up in the bottom two alongside TOWIE’s Dan Edgar.

Ashley, Jayne and Christopher all decided to save Dan, while Oti picked Mollie.

Mollie broke down in tears after the news and said: ‘I’ve had the best time – these are happy tears!

‘This was the experience of a lifetime and I’m so happy that I made it this far.’

This means that Sam Aston, Michaela Strachan, Anton Ferdinand and Dan are going to battle it out for a spot in the final.

Mollie shot to fame on the second series of BBC’s The Traitors back in 2024.

She made it all the way to the final two, but Harry Clark managed to deceive her and walk away with the huge cash prize fund.

Mollie took to Instagram after their elimination to celebrate their success.

She wrote: ‘Soooo proud of us!!

‘Thank you to everyone who’s voted for the last seven weeks I have had the time of my life.

‘@colin_grafton my friend for life.’
