Britain’s Got Talent has been pulled from screens just weeks into the new series and has faced a fresh wave of Ofcom complaints.
The ITV talent show sees judges Simon Cowell, 63, Amanda Holden, 53, Alesha Dixon, 46, and Bruno Tonioli, 69, give their verdicts on acts from around the country.
A new series began just last month and has already showcased a range of performances from a naked comedian to impressive opera singing.
Becoming a weekend staple, Britain’s Got Talent usually airs on Saturday nights at 7pm.
However, it is set to be pulled from screens on March 15 due to a Six Nations game, France vs Scotland, taking the spot instead.
The talent show will return as usual the following week.

At the same time, the much-loved ITV hit has received a surge of Ofcom complaints from viewers, many about a particularly gruesome act.
American performer Auzzy Blood took to the stage in last weekend’s instalment and shocked the judges and audience with his daring routine.
During his stunt, Auzzy put a corkscrew and meat hook through his head and nose, and out of his mouth.
The scene was so dangerous that a warning was put out so viewers do not try the stunt at home – with Dec reiterating the point during the segment.
The horrifying act was dressed head to toe in gothic attire and had painted their face in skeleton-like paint.
After twisting the corkscrew and hooks, he then inserted a tube into their nose and out their mouth, instructing Simon to drink from it.
For the final part of the terrifying act, he pulled himself up into the air from a rope with a hook hanging from their mouth and nose.
However, ITV received 57 complaints after the show which brought the total number to 828 so far.
The ‘vast majority’ were in regards to Auzzy’s performance.

An Ofcom representative said: ‘The vast majority of complaints were about Auzzy Blood’s routine. These are additional complaints to those reported last week, and the cumulative total 828.’
This weekend’s instalment has also been hit by a shake-up.
Saturday night’s TV schedule is usually very tight, but with no clashes, meaning that everyone can enjoy their favourite shows in peace.
However this Saturday two shows will be on at the same time because of the Six Nations, when Scotland takes on Wales at 4pm.
The sports segment will wrap up at 7pm, meaning that Gladiators will now be on at the same time as Britain’s Got Talent.
Gladiators usually airs between 5:45 and 6:45pm on BBC One, while Britain’s Got Talent follows from 7pm on ITV.
