BBC Breakfast presenter Jon Kay was missing in action on Monday morning (March 17) as Roger Johnson stepped in to replace him. The news anchor, who usually stars alongside Sally Nugent from Mondays to Wednesdays, was nowhere to be seen during the latest episode, as Sally sat on the famous red sofa with Roger.

Heading straight over to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: “Reminder that any day @RogerJ_01 is on the sofa is a good one. Let’s have him permanently, please! He’s pleasant, clever, and never asks a stupid question.”
