Viral sensation Norma, famed on social media for her comedy videos alongside granddaughter Jess, has died at age of 91, her family announced.

The pair, known for their presence on social media with 790k Instagram followers and their heart-warming clips together, have amassed a huge fanbase over the years for documenting their daily lives together, reports ManchesterEveningNews.

Jess and Norma, who are from Nottinghamshire, have also garnered more than 2.6 million followers on TikTok by sharing hilarious clips, and were preparing for the launch of their book ‘A lifetime of laughter and our unbreakable bond’ next month.

However in a post across their social media platforms on Monday (June 9), it was announced that Norma had passed away peacefully aged 91.

The family paid a heartfelt tribute to her and told of how they had ‘lost their rock’.

“05/06/2025 the day our family lost our rock, our everything, our beautiful, precious, perfect lady,” the post said.

“We are all truly devastated and our lives will never be the same.

“We want you all to know that Nan fell to sleep peacefully, surrounded by all her family, she was full of love and had the most beautiful care.

“If anyone deserves a place in heaven, it’s you Nanny Norma. Social media and our community online made Nan’s last years so incredibly special, her cup was full and in her own words she “lived such a wonderful life”.

“91 years was never going to be enough and she has left the biggest hole in all of our hearts. Reunited with her husband and family, until we meet again, our queen.”

Celebrities and fans alike rushed to pay tribute in the comments, as comedian Dawn French wrote: “Oh. I will miss her so much. I can’t begin to imagine how much you will. All love.”

As Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward penned: “Oh I’m so sad she was so amazing and loved watching her. You will have amazing memories forever and thousands of people will remember her thanks to you!”
