For yet another year the BBC have dropped their annual report, revealing the impressive salaries of some of their highest earners, with the likes of Gary Lineker and Zoe Ball topping the list once again. Although what the rich list failed to mention was the earnings of several of its famous faces that appear on our screens week in, week out.

The annual report for the year 2024/25 showed that Lineker’s £1.35million salary made him yet again the highest-paying star, thanks to his sports presenting. Alongside him, the best-paid woman on the big list was Zoe Ball with £519,000, even though the host is known to work part-time.

However, what the list conveniently left out was some of its other big spenders, who are actually raking in millions more than some of those named. This little loophole is thanks to stars like Stacey Solomon, Rylan Clark and Claudia Winkleman not being listed under BBC Studios, and therefore not needing to make their salaries public knowledge.

According to MaliOnline, filings from the stars’ Companies House registrations have confirmed the “real” rich list, and viewers may be shocked to learn just how much their favourite hosts are bringing in each year.

Stacey Solomon – £7.3million

It was back in April when the MaliOnline reported that Stacey Solomon is thought to be worth £7.3million with her numerous TV and branding projects. The 35-year-old, who got her start on ITV’s X Factor, presents the BBC show Sort Your Life Out and has seen a staggering increase in her earnings.

The outlet suggests that the presenter has seen a huge influx from £1.4million to £3million in 2023. Now, the mother-of-five’s business, Key Map Entertainment, is valued at over £7million.

This was aided by her reality show deal with the BBC, which candidly follows her and husband Joe Swash’s life at home with their children. Not to mention the fortune she has created from numerous clothing lines with Primark, homeware collections with Asda and social media deals before recently launching her own skincare brand.

Richard Osman – £3.7million

Recognisable as the co-host from Pointless and, more recently, the presenter for House of Games, Osman is another star bringing in the big bucks at the BBC. At 45 years old, he is the sole director of an entertainment company, which reportedly retained earnings of £3,702,23 in 2025 alone.

This is in addition to his successful year on screen, which saw his hit book series adapted for Netflix and starring Dame Helen Mirren, Celia Imrie, Pierce Brosnan and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Louis Theroux – £2.9million

Another BBC big shot missing from their recent report was none other than Louis Theroux, who has various projects of his own, helping to build up the bucks. Louis’ company, Blobfish Limited, made a total of £2,883,786 this past year, according to its most recent accounts, as reported by MailOnline.

Despite his 26-year-long career, his work as a national broadcaster has taken a step back, and the journalist has been focusing on other projects. After success with two captivating series of Louis Theroux Interviews, it appears this has also taken hold for the foreseeable future, as the presenter will now be teaming up with Netflix, The Sun reports.

Claudia Winkleman – £1.5million

It was also revealed that Claudia’s own company, Little Owl Production, has a total equity of £1,575,279 for its 2024 accounts. Meanwhile, she is one of the BBC’s fan-favourite presenters, appearing on shows like The Traitors and Strictly Come Dancing.

It was previously reported that Winkleman made a whopping £1million deal to commit to making the game show. On top of that, the host is raking in her predicted £600,000 a year earnings from her time spent on Strictly Come Dancing alongside Tess Daly.

Rylan Clark – £1.4million

The presenter quickly solidified himself as a household name; despite initially rising to fame on the ITV show The X Factor, he is now a well-established figure at the BBC. The TV star hosts his very own Radio 2 show and recently began a new TV venture for his Grand Tour travel show with on-screen partner Rob Rinder.

According to Rylan’s Limited Companies House, he made £1,447,866 in the last year, as displayed by his business accounts. This will be paired with his various brand sponsorships and other TV earnings.

Overall the BBC has had a treacherous journey this past year, seeing many stars part ways with the broadcaster for numerous controversies. This includes the likes of Wynne Evans and, more recently, MasterChef duo Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
