The Duke of Sussex explained how he is not speaking to his father in an interview following his defeat in a court case over security

Piers Morgan returned to Good Morning Britain after his shock exit four years ago

Piers Morgan has lashed out at Prince Harry in the wake of his bombshell interview with the BBC.

The Duke of Sussex made several huge revelations in the interview following his defeat in a court case regarding UK security arrangements.

Prince Harry revealed he and his father King Charles were currently not speaking because of the tension over the court case asking for the royal and his family to receive taxpayer funded security when in the UK, which has been denied.

Harry also expressed a desire to reconcile with his family, but said he would not bring his family to the UK as he believes they will not be safe.

Following the interview, Piers blasted Harry, referring to him as a “whiny hypocritical brat” in a heated tweet on X.

He wrote: “That moment when you realised you’re now a dead-eyed, drug-addled, *****-whipped, whiny, entitled, arrogant, hypocritical little twerp loathed by your own family,” sharing an image of Harry from the interview.

In another tweet shared on Friday, Piers Morgan wrote: “Prince Harry’s issued a statement to accompany his latest whiny interview whacking his family.

“I have my own statement for him: ‘Shut up, you pathetic little brat, nobody in Britain has anything but contempt for your despicable treatment of your family.’”

One X user replied: “Gee… Piers! Come on. No member of the Royal Family is deserving of this kind of vehement vitriol from you.

“Please refrain. H was a dutiful and loyal British soldier for 10 years, and from all reports very well liked by all and never asking for any special treatment.

“I do agree with you that he should follow our late great Queen Elizabeth II ‘s advice to ‘Never complain, never explain’ and pursue duty over drama. But I think you’re going too far here IMHO.”

Another commented: “How long will this rant go on? Whether it comes to Meghan you seem to get out of control.”

However, there were many who supported Mr Morgan, with one individual saying: “While he is all of those things, I doubt there’s much realization going on for him. He seems unable to self reflect or take any responsibility. Those two leeches will be perpetual victims.”
