Even his feet have lost weight!
Comedian and presenter Matt Lucas is considering cosmetic surgery to remove his loose skin following his huge weight loss.
The former Great British Bake Off co-host revealed he’s dropped 42kg – more than six and a half stone – in the past few years, after piling on the pounds during the Covid pandemic.
However, while his dramatic weight loss has meant he now fits into a medium rather than a XXXL when it comes to clothes, Matt still aims to feel a little more comfortable in his skin, which he now has an excess of.

Little Britain star Matt, 51, is said to have started to drop mass in 2021. He previously reflected: “I was very big and I was getting bigger in the pandemic actually. Sort of not being very active, not really going out, not seeing people, just eating a lot of roast potatoes. I can’t tell you how many roast potatoes I ate!”
Matt went on: “I was so big I couldn’t really fit on screen any more. I’ve still got a proper tummy. I’m not skinny, by any means. I’ve just lost some weight.”
However, during a recent podcast appearance, it appears he’s looking to move on from how his bulk affected his skin, too.

‘I do have loose skin’
Matt said during Making A Scene podcast: “When you lose a lot of weight, you do end up with loose skin. I do have loose skin. So, I would say maybe I might have something done surgically just to make it a bit more presentable.”
And it seems he remains very aware of his stomach, possibly as his weight still changes.
“I do still have things in the house that are sort of half a stone either way still,” Matt admitted. “Because I do still fluctuate and I’m not… I don’t feel like it’s finished.”

He reasoned: “Like, I put on two kilos recently. So it doesn’t feel like I’ve reached the end of that journey. You know, I do still fluctuate.
I still see a really juicy belly when I look down.
“I’ve lost about 42 kilograms. I think I’m about 68, 69 kilos. But when I look down, I still see a really juicy belly when I look down. So I don’t feel that I’ve lost the weight.”
Matt also revealed his surprise at losing so much weight that he actually dropped a shoe size!
“They’re less fat now, that’s for sure,” he joked, referring to his feet.
