Good Morning Britain star Richard Arnold has opened up about his health issue after revealing he has a painful foot condition which has been causing him problems

A presenter on Good Morning Britain opened up about his excruciating foot condition amidst chatting about the hottest celebrity gossip.

The chap mentioned his ongoing battle with a painful foot problem.While Richard Arnold was chatting to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid about Sir Rod Stewart’s athletic ambitions, the conversation shifted towards the rock legend’s goal to set a sprinting world record.

It was during this chat that Richard disclosed his own health woes.

He shared that he’s grappling with plantar fasciitis, a nasty issue causing pain in the lower foot, sometimes hitting the heel or arch, making it a common gripe for many.

The topic came about whilst discussing Rod Stewart’s aspirations to snatch a 100m world record. Stating he’s been training hard on his personal running track and aims to sharpen his sprints even further.

“I’ve got it down to 19 seconds by learning how to push off. Now I’m going for 17 seconds, which I think would be a world record for someone my age,” Rod recently proclaimed in reference to his efforts to clinch the title, reports the Mirror.

Rod continued: “I keep myself very fit. I played soccer all my life don’t play much anymore after a knee replacement but I’ve had the same trainer for 38 years.

“I’ve got a huge gym, an indoor pool, a golf course you name it.”

His perseverance is inspired by none other than Frank Sinatra, with Rod sharing: “He told me the secret to being a great singer is having powerful lungs. So do lots of underwater swimming and hold your breath.”

Meanwhile, Richard has been a staple on the show for years and reminisced about his cherished moments during the 10th-anniversary celebrations last year.

Reflecting on his tenure, he shared: “So many memories – Celine Dion singing me happy birthday in New York, Barbra Streisand stopping mid interview to dab my moist top lip mid interview because of the heat of the lights, Cher in LA, Mariah Carey in Vegas, Bushtucker Trials backstage on I’m A Celeb and the trip of a lifetime with fans in Japan for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. I’m one lucky lad!”.

In today’s entertainment news segment, Richard and the crew were thrilled to be joined by dinosaurs, marking the excitement for the forthcoming film Jurassic World: Rebirth, following their interaction with the movie’s stars at the glitzy London premiere in Leicester Square last night.
