Janette Manrara has shared an honest message about missing her daughter as she ignored a social media jibe following her latest post.
The professional dancer and presenter is currently on the road having joined the cast of musical Chicago earlier this year. Janette made her stage debut in the iconic role of Roxie Hart back in March.
It was revealed back in January that Janette would be taking on a huge new role has since been seen taking to the stage in theatres up and down the country to great praise.
The Strictly Come Dancing star has also been able to enjoy her time touring the UK and Ireland with the show and posted a string of photos with her co-stars last week and said on Instagram: “Got to let my hair down last night and so enjoyed it!
“What a great night out w/ the @chicagoonstage cast celebrating @_ellyshaw birthday! We danced the night away! Love this group so very much!”
In a new social media update, Janette gave fans a glimpse into how she looks after herself while on the road, starting with her morning routine.
Sharing a video to Instagram, the mum-of-one, who shares daughter Lyra Rose with husband Aljaz Skorjanec, said: “Wake up w/ me! Haha! A typical morning for me on the road. Making the bed, self-care, and the importance of vitamins! Here we go:

“1) ALWAYS make my bed before anything else. It’s this small detail that helps you really create routine for a more productive day.. 2) Yes, I still take my Collagen Shots from @newnordic_uk.
“3) My usual skin care routine (I’ll do a separate vid for that). 4) Been using the retinol resculpting body lotion from @muradskincareuk on my thighs and WOW! Really love it!
“5) Cereal! My favourite @kelloggs.uki Fruit and Fibre. 6) VITAMINS! I swear by them and currently taking these while on tour: @newnordic_uk #ClearBrain, @solgarukireland #SkinNailsHair, and @hollandandbarrett #ImmunitySupport. 7) Finished off by a delicious cup of coffee.”
But one of Janette’s followers seemingly wasn’t impressed as they commented: “Didn’t need to know all that and I always air my beds with open window first. Was looking for Lyra.”
Janette, however, didn’t take the jibe and responded in her usual kind way, writing: ” My mornings with Lyra are VERY different! [crying laughing emoji]. But they my favourites [heart emoji]. Will share a vid of that when I’m back home with her. Miss her terribly while I’m away.”
Another follower was, however, quick to show support by responding and saying: “You are a superstar. Lyra is blessed to have you as her mommy.”
