The former Coronation Street star was reunited with Vito Coppola – albeit not in person – but fans were delighted

Ellie Leach has impressed fans with her dance skills more than a year on from winning Strictly Come Dancing as she was reunited with Vito Coppola – albeit not in person.

Earlier this month, professional dancer Vito roped in his former celebrity dance partner to be part of his online dance class to mark International Women’s Day.

It’s not actually that long since fans got to see the dancer back with his fellow Strictly champ Ellie Leach as they reunited last month was Vito was doing dance classes up and down the country to coincide with the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour.

The dance contest pro teamed up with Strictly judge Shirley Ballas to put on dance classes across the country but for his first online class, Vito was joined by his brother, Jonathan, as he’s currently at home with his loved ones in Italy, while Ellie dialled in from Greater Manchester.

A clip of part of their class has since been shared on the ‘Dance With Us’ Instagram page, alongside which the caption read: “We’re still thinking about our WOMEN’S DAY class. Take a sneak peak at the SALSA routine @vitocoppola, @jonathan_copp and @ellielouiseleach taught. Use this reel to PRACTICE and remember to SEND us your videos!”

Vito’s 2024 Strictly partner Sarah Hadland was quick to respond, writing in the comments section: “Oh I neeeed to do this.” Fleur East, who was Vito’s first-ever dance partner on the hit dance show in 2023, also replied: “Wooooo! Love the moves.”

And fans were quick to respond. @charlottes_photos_art_loves said: “Ellie looking amazing…still got it Girl! As for Vito and Jonathan…more of you two together please!!!” @lin3ssen wrote: “Ellie was the Muse of the Fratelli Coppola. Awesome Trio.”
