Noel Edmonds, 76, is preparing to marry his wife Liz, 55, for the fifth time—this time with a uniquely Kiwi twist. The legendary British TV presenter proposed once again from the comfort of their hot tub at their stunning New Zealand estate, River Haven.

The couple, who first tied the knot in 2009, have already said “I do” four times in various settings, including a civil ceremony in the Cotswolds, a religious ceremony in France, and even once on a cruise ship. “One of them I can’t even remember,” Noel quipped.

Their 800-acre estate, which they’ve called home since relocating in 2019, boasts a vineyard, a restaurant, a pub, and a wellness centre. But their slice of paradise was recently devastated by a violent flood when the Motueka River burst its banks. Two treatment suites were destroyed, and silt now covers much of the main building. “Three years of hard graft destroyed in just a few hours,” Noel said.

Despite the devastation, Noel remains inspired by the resilience of the local community and is determined to rebuild. In fact, plans for restoration will begin early next year—and with them, a new wedding ceremony to mark the next chapter.

The proposal and emotional reflections are set to air on Noel’s Kiwi Adventures, a documentary capturing their rollercoaster journey through life in rural New Zealand.

Adding to the drama, the couple has faced extreme weather before—surviving earthquakes, tropical storms, and even landslips. Noel described the region’s weather as having “attitude” and joked about a nearby volcano they hope is dormant.

Now, amid chaos and uncertainty, Noel and Liz are choosing love and laughter once more—with another unforgettable “I do” on the horizon.
