JB Gill has been flooded with messages from fans as he teased ‘what’s in store’ for him and his family while his wife was supported by his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars.

As fans of the hit dance show know, the JLS star was among the celebrities to sign up to the BBC One dance contest as it celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.

He was paired with professional dancer Amy Dowden who made her triumphant return to the ballroom after having to miss the previous series as she underwent treatment for cancer.

But their journey in the competition wasn’t plain sailing as an injury forced Amy out of the competition following the show’s Halloween special with fellow pro Lauren Oakley stepping in, before she and JB danced their way all the way to the Strictly 2024 final.

Now, after weeks on the road with his co-stars as part of the popular Strictly Come Dancing Live tour, JB is well and truly back to work on his existing projects – but it appears there is more to come for the Gill family.

Taking to Instagran to mark the end of February, JB shared a string of snaps taken throughout the month which including him behind-the-scenes at the Strictly tour with the Glitterball trophy, another wife wife Chloe and their children filming their new Cooking with the Gills series and more.

Captioning the post, the singer, presenter and not forgetting farmer, wrote: “What a month February has been!! It’s had everything from performing 25 times to a sold out @theo2london arena, launching our new @milkshake_tv series of ‘Cooking with the Gill’s’, watching the @arsenalwfc ladies win 5-0 at the Emirates with my little lady and even publishing my second book – Ace and the Animal Heroes: The Wacky Weather Mystery!

“A huge thank you to everyone who’s bought it and sent me messages, happy reading!” He added: “The days are getting longer and spring is finally here, can’t wait for you all to see what we’ve got in store this month!! Happy weekend everyone! #thegills #newmonth.”

Meanwhile, JB’s wife Chloe was emotionally reflected on the aging of their beloved family dog, Nala. Sharing a photo of their beloved pooch on Instagram, she opened up about facing life without their pet.

She said: “As the years are rolling on and more grey hairs are arriving I can’t help but feel sad. This afternoon I just burst into tears while she push her head on my leg for a cuddle. It’s as though I’m grieving for her loss while she’s still here!

“This overwhelming feeling of sadness flooded over me, I told her how much I loved her and we just cuddled in the garden watching Ace playing football. From the day we adopted her I’ve adored her, she’s been such a massive part of our lives. I guess seeing her slow down and realising that time is limited is what hits home hard.”

Chloe added: “I’m trying to cherish every moment with her but also let my feelings be valid and just cuddle her so she knows she’s loved #mygirl.” And JB’s Strictly co-stars were among those to respond.

While Lauren, Fleur East and Shayne Ward’s wife all responded with heart and crying face emojis, Sarah Hadland commented: “Oh Chloe,” with more crying face emojis and love heart icons.

Fans were also keen to show some love and support. @the_uninvitedguest said: “I am exactly the same with my boy which looks so similar to your girl. We just don’t deserve dogs. They are next level.” @shirleyfarrellpa wrote: “Oh Chloe, This makes me sad too! I can’t bear it, dogs are the best and a huge part of our lives. Nala is loved.”

@emmorris21 replied: “She knows she is loved, you have given her a beautiful loving forever home.” @missvivianna added: “I know this feeling far too well. But just love her unconditionally and be secure that she feels that always.”
