The dancer and presenter surprised her husband Aljaz Skorjanec with an epic late birthday gift as they prepare to share news

Janette Manrara has revealed that she has an announcement ‘coming very soon’ after she was seen ditching the UK with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec.

The dancer and presenter had an emotional start to the month when she was seen breaking down in tears after saying goodbye to Strictly Come Dancing pro Aljaz and their daughter, Lyra Rose.

It was first revealed back in January that Janette would making her stage debut in the iconic musical in the lead role of Roxie Hart as it tours across the UK and she has since been seen taking to the stage in the iconic role.

But a recent stint performing in Ireland saw Janette take time apart from Aljaz, who headed to Slovenia to spend some time with his family, alongside his daughter.

However, the family-of-three have since reunited and it didn’t take long for them to jump on a plan and leave the country together for what Janette said is their first family holiday.

Taking to Instagram, she revealed, alongside a video of their journey to Mauritus before showing the inside of their large and lavish room they’ll be staying in for the week, that the holiday was a surprise for Aljaz’s birthday, which took place back in February.

Janette sahred: “SURPRISE!!! #gifted @aljazskorjanec birthday was February 19th, but we were in the middle of the move and I was rehearsing @chicagoonstage so we did not have time to really celebrate.

“So…. I was lucky to sort a holiday as a surprise and MY GOD did it work out well! It’s also our FIRST HOLIDAY just us 3 as a family, and the only one we’ll get this year until Christmas so the expectations are high!

“We are in Mauritius and staying at the @shangrilamauritius and I don’t know where to begin w/ how wonderful our first day was! For one, the surprise worked! He had no idea where we were going or where we were staying. Also, Lyra was a dream boat on the flight! Hallelujah.

“The hotel team surprised Aljaz and welcomed us w/ one of his favourites, banoffee pie! We had gorgeous weather and spent the whole day at the beach. And the day ended w/ a delicious buffett of different types of local dishes, w/ dancing and music, and the most thoughtful bed full of rose pedals and a family portrait waiting for us at the end of the night in our room.

She added: “We are here for the whole week, and I cannot wait for the beautiful memories we’ll get to create as a little family. Happy Birthday Bučko! Thank you to @shangrilamauritius and @kurt.macher along with/ @boundarypusher for making this wonderful and very much needed trip happen for us!”

While away, Janette has returned to social media with a sweet snap of one-year-old Lyra ready for the pool in a floral swisuit with matching hat and flower-shaped sunglasses.
