ITV has already ‘sealed’ the fate of ITV’s The Masked Singer UK just days after the finale of the latest

TV’s The Masked Singer has concluded its most dramatic UK series yet, marked by the abrupt exit of singing sensation Macy Gray after being unmasked early in the competition.

The show’s sixth series, which aired this year, became a hot topic of discussion due to the shocking off-stage exit, as well as its dazzling performances and numerous surprising reveals.

Judges Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, and Davina McCall faced criticism for failing to identify certain obvious celebrities, including EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy.

The 2025 series was captivating from start to finish, with online platforms buzzing continuously as fans shared their guesses until the very last unmasking.

Given the show’s evident success and soaring viewership, it’s no surprise that ITV has reportedly already greenlit the 2026 series, reports the Mirror.

With fierce competition on her heels, she outperformed soulful jazz icon Gregory Porter, who placed second, even though Mo Gilligan had pegged him early in the game.

Securing third was Wolf, unmasked as Scottish songster Marti Pellow, much to the non-surprise of viewers who boasted they’d sussed him out from the very start.
