One of This Morning’s presenters has not been spotted on screen for a while and fans are worried about his future on the show.

This Morning viewers are becoming concerned after one of the show’s familiar faces seems to have vanished from screens without an explanation. Over the Easter holidays, the presenting line up has gone through several shake-ups, as Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were temporarily replaced by stand in hosts. Fans have seen Dermot O’Leary teaming up with Sian Welby in recent weeks before the return of the usual Friday duo, Dermot and Alison Hammond.

However, viewers were left puzzled when Friday’s episode revealed yet another change. Alison told audiences: “Josie and Andi Peters will be keeping you company on Easter Monday.” Dermot added, “All the latest gossip from the Celebrity Big Brother house, Will Best joins them in the studio.”

It wasn’t the Easter Monday presenters that sparked questions as much as who was not mentioned. Viewers took to social media to question the absence of one particular host.

One X user asked: “Andi on Monday? Have they secretly got rid of Craig?” Another wrote: “Wonder what’s happened to Craig.”

Craig Doyle is a regular stand in presenter on the ITV morning show, and is typically paired with Josie Gibson. His recent unexplained absence has viewers speculating that he might have been quietly removed from the roster.

Craig joined This Morning back in 2021. The broadcaster originally appeared in competition segments before being given co-hosting duties alongside regulars like Alison Hammond, Holly Willoughby, and Rochelle Humes.

Outside of This Morning, Craig is a well known Irish TV and radio presenter with a career which includes sports reporting for RTE and hosting major events for the BBC and ITV, such as Rugby Union coverage and quiz shows like The Colour of Money.

He also became a familiar face to many thanks to his stint fronting Everest Windows adverts.

Off screen, Craig lives a quiet life in County Wicklow with his wife Doon, who he often lovingly mentions on air. The pair live with their four children: Elsa, Milo, Muireann, and Quinn.

Although Craig has a job in the spotlight, Doon prefers to stay behind the scenes. She previously worked as an interior designer before deciding to focus on raising their family.

There has been no official word from ITV or Craig himself about his current status on the show, so loyal fans are hoping his absence is just temporary.
