How Clean Is Your House’s Kim Woodburn has addressed claims she is ill insisting: ‘I’m as fit as a fiddle.’

Concerns were raised after the 80-year-old shared a picture on Friday from a hospital bed looking frail, wearing a nasal cannula and a bedpan on her head.

Speaking to GB News on Saturday from her home in Cheshire, Kim said she’d be in for surgery which required medics needing to have her throat cut.

But despite the gruelling operation loudmouth Kim said she was in good spirits and joked she was still talking.

She told GB hosts Anne Diamond and Stephen Dixon: ‘It’s been all over the papers. I am not ill. I’ll show you what’s wrong with me.

‘I had a very bad disc in the back of my neck and it was affecting my hands, so I haven’t been able to use them.

‘So, I went to the hospital on Wednesday, and the doctor cut my throat with a big gash in my neck, he took out the disc in this hole in my neck and put a titanium disc in. How he did it I don’t know.’

‘I’ve had calls from America, “Kim, Kim, oh Kim’s ill”. No, it’s a few hours after my surgery, its painful, I’ve got stitches. They sent me home and I’m as fit as a fiddle.

‘I’ve got about four or five weeks to rest but I’ve got this big cut-throat. Mind you, it’s not stopped me talking.’

Posting from hospital on Friday, she wrote: ‘My hospital outfit. Do you like the hat? Home tonight! Yippeee!’

Responding to the pose, one follower wrote: ‘Oh lord!! What ever happened? Hope you get well soon,’ with another adding: ‘Wishing you well Kim!!’

A third added: ‘NOOOOOOOO OMG GET WELL SOON BABY ANGEL XXX.’

It comes after Kim left her followers aghast as she made a raunchy confession about her sex life with husband Peter.

The How Clean Is Your House? star spoke about their dalliances during an Instagram live session, which has since been deleted.

Asked about her sex life, she told fans: ‘I get it three nights a week,’ reports the Daily Star. She added: ‘My husband is a very active man. He is a beast. A beast.’

Kim and former police officer Peter married in 1979, and will celebrate their 40th anniversary this year.

Last year, Kim revealed she has a ‘very’ active sex life with Peter during her stint on  Celebrity Call Centre.

The expert cleaner dismissed the idea that getting older means the passion fades in a relationship, and she has opened up about their romance with a rather racy admission.

Kim shared: ‘People think when you become elderly, you don’t have sex, but you do. I look at Peter and think, ‘Cor, you’re lovely!’ I’m 76 and I very actively get my drift dear, ooh yes!’

Sharing some relationship advice with a caller: ‘When you first meet, it’s sex, it’s lust, but lust will not last. But when there’s love left, you’ll last forever.’

‘Go out for a nice dinner, have a little talk and a chat and a kissy cuddle, it’ll all sort itself out’, she added.
